Fur Babies

Coco(beagle) and Princess(cocker) went to the groomer today and got much needed baths, nail trimming and haircuts. They smell soooo much better too! Don't they look cute?

A stitching finish

I finished this late last night. It is a present for a dear friend. She has been going through a horrible time yet at the same time listening to me vent about issues in my life. She is a true friend and when I saw this pattern I knew I HAD to do it for her. I am planning on framing it and giving it to her "just because" I hope she likes it.

Last weekend, Matthew and I went to this place where the pottery is already made and you just paint it. I am not a great painted but this is what I made.

Bib Finish

This was a fun design to do and I LOVE the colors but I never knew veggies would have so MUCH backstitching. Now it is back to work on the blue elephant for love quilts. Maybe sometime this year I can do something for ME!

Another finish!

I finished this today for another exchange. One more to go and then I am taking a break from exchanges to work on something for ME!! This makes my 4th one for 2008 but they have all been small. I am thrilled that I get so much done now. Nothing for high stress to make me stitch. I wonder if I will get as much done when hubby is in Afghanistan. Of course my son has been a handful lately. Also I am not reading much. Seems to go either one way or the other. UGH!
