Last weekend, Matthew and I went to this place where the pottery is already made and you just paint it. I am not a great painted but this is what I made.
Kim - How fun! I think you did a great job. I've seen those places and I would never have the nerve. I am so not a gifted artist. I love how you used lots of colors. Suzann
Kim - Looks great! We have done that several times and it is hard to tell what the finished product will look like since the colors are much paler before being glazed. My girls both love doing that - and I usually get something done too. However - 2 our of 4 things that I have made have been broken -- think someone is hinting that they don't like my artwork.
Love the colors. I think is fun to do stuff like this. I'm working on the kids "cotillones", those are like loot bags, but not bag, some craft they can keep, and I find it very amusing.
Life is crazy! I am married to Frank but I am a geographical single person since he is in NC and I am in St. Louis. I have an active 12 year old son, Matthew.who is also in NC with Frank. I work full time seeing babies and moms in high risk homes in St. Louis. It is an awesome organization. www.nfnf.org We also have 2 furry kids. Princess my 14 year old cocker spaniel and Coco our 6 year old beagle. I love to read and cross stitch.
