My weekend

I had a good weekend. I learned the punch needle. Finished the stitching of this ornament and worked on a mystery sampler. Hope everyone else had a good weekend!

Nurses for Newborns

As many of you know, I am very proud of my job. I feel all the nurses make a difference in the lives of the moms and babies we serve. Thursday morning we were on the CBS morning show. Here is a link to the story and video

Finally Finished

This is the blue elephant that I made with a group of wonderful stitchers to be made into a Noah's ark quilt. All the people making squares belong to every stitch counts at yahoo. Isn't he cute???

Fur Babies

Coco(beagle) and Princess(cocker) went to the groomer today and got much needed baths, nail trimming and haircuts. They smell soooo much better too! Don't they look cute?

A stitching finish

I finished this late last night. It is a present for a dear friend. She has been going through a horrible time yet at the same time listening to me vent about issues in my life. She is a true friend and when I saw this pattern I knew I HAD to do it for her. I am planning on framing it and giving it to her "just because" I hope she likes it.

Last weekend, Matthew and I went to this place where the pottery is already made and you just paint it. I am not a great painted but this is what I made.
